All our belongings

“All our belongins” is a piece that was created as a part of group exhibition. The project of three artists (Milan Salák, Tereza Severová, Tereza Velíková) entitled “Remarks” isan attempt to create a visual mapping of the everyday environment. It came into being and has developed gradually. Initially, the aim was to create a unified installation which would combine fragments from the everyday household environment with the exhibition space. The imaginary border between these two worlds became later an important element determining the shape of the entire installation. “All our belongins” that me and my husband have collected until that time were artificially set into the stage set of the exhibiting space. The work was inspired by author ́s personal experience with moving house.
